Elections.

At the annual meeting of the Hebrew society for Mutual Assistance and Visitation of the Sick, held on Sunday, the 24th of December, 1843, (ist of Tebeth, 5604,) the following gentlemen were elected officers for the ensuing year:

Henry M. Phillips, President; Abraham S. Wolf, Secretary; Marcus Cauffman, Treasurer; and Myer A. Van Collem and Hyman Pollock, Kaubromin.

At the annual meeting of the Holy Congregation of Children of Israel, Cincinnati, held at the vestry-room, on the 8th Elul, (3rd September, 1843,) in conformity to charter, the following gentlemen were elected officers for the year 5604:

Joseph Jonas, Parnass; Phineas Moses, Gabay Zedokah; Issachar Ouer, Gabay Beth Hyam; Lazarus Tannawold, Treasurer; and Morris B. Mann, Secretary.

At the annual meeting of the Hebrew Benevolent Society of Cincinnati, instituted in the month of Heshvan, 5603, for the relief of the poor and sick of the Jewish persuasion, the following gentlemen were elected officers for the current year:

Joseph Jonas, President; Abraham Wolf, Jr., Vice-President; Solomon Moses, Treasurer; Adolph Louis, Secretary; Phineas Moses, David Mayer, Joseph Newhouse, Simeon Moses, Philip Heidelbach, Mosely Ezekiel, M. I. De Young, and Philip Mann, Managing Committee.

Contributions $3 per annum.
